The 102T (3.5°) 6-pawl system delivers lightning fast engagement and seamless power transfer for faster acceleration out of corners and over technical climbs.
Ok, let's face it, E-MTB wheels are never going to be super light-weight, strength and durability are first priority... but that doesn't mean they have to be excessively heavy.
X models, come with the best equipment. By choosing DT Aerolite spokes, not only did we improve lateral stability and power transfer efficiency, we reduced the rotational weight of each wheel by 100 grams.
32mm Internal, Tubeless Ready Rims
For our E-Mtb model, we dialed in the rim width for 2.5"–3.0" tyres, to provide you with maximum grip, control and stability on any terrain. The wider rim/tyre combination further reduces the risk of annoying pinch flats and impact damage.
Low-Profile 21mm Deep, "V-Type" Concave rim profile and Hook Bead Design, increases impact strength while reducing the risk of pinch flats and impact damage. The unique concave design dramatically improves wheel stability and strength without adding unnecessary weight.

For 18 months, our GNARLY mountain bike wheels called Blue Derby and Maydena home.
We wanted to test our wheels on World Class trails, so we sent them to Tasmania, one of the most demanding MTN test grounds in the world where they were pushed to their limits over and over again.
