Stainless Steel Spokes
We use round Triple Butted Stainless Steel spokes for riders up to 110kg.
If you weight more than 110kg, we recommend changing to straight gauge spokes with a reinforced head, it adds weight to the overall wheel but the additional strength advantages offset this.
Brass Nipples
Brass nipples are a suitable match for the R460 rims, providing additional strength and durability.
When building with brass nipples, we apply specific thread-lock compounds in addition to the lubrication applied to the rim/nipple contact points.
